Greg Miles is an award-winning photographer who launched his career as a fashion photographer in New York City. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Fine Arts Program, his talent landed him in high demand for both editorial and commercial work. His early professional career included fashion shoots with top models like Helena Christiansen and Amber Valetta. His portfolio grew to include edgier publications such as Interview and Black Book.
Greg’s editorial work can be found in such national and international publications as Allure, German Marie Claire, The American and Cosmopolitan. His corporate and commercial clients include Neiman Marcus, Verve Records and Harrah’s Casino among others.
Greg moved his career base to New Orleans in 2002, when he met and married his wife, Zoë, a New Orleans native. Much of Greg’s work focuses on the city’s renowned music scene. In recent years, his portraits of musicians have shown in galleries in New York and New Orleans.
Although Greg still travels for assignments, his new home base allows him to be a regular contributor to New Orleans Magazine, Louisiana Homes & Lifestyles, Offbeat, Gambit Weekly, and St. Charles Avenue.
A recent winner of both ASMP’S Image Award and Alliance Editorial Excellence Award, Greg resides in the Irish Channel, New Orleans with his wife, his daughter, Violet and his son, James Ignatius.
